প্রিয় এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীরা,
গত ৩০শে জুন তোমাদের এই বছর এর এইচএসসি সমমান পরিক্ষা শুরু হয়েছে। আমরা তোমাদের পরিক্ষা বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে সাহায্য করবো।
নিচে কিছু কৌশল সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হলো,যা তোমাদের ইংরেজি পরিক্ষাই A+ পেতে সাহায্য করবে।
★অধিকাংশ শিক্ষার্থী সারা বছর Grammar, Fill in the gaps, Table, Re-arrange ইত্যাদি বেশি বেশি চর্চা করে থাকে। যার ফলে অনেক সময় Composition Part টি উপেক্ষিত থেকে যায়। অথচ দুই পত্রে ২০০ নম্বরের মধ্যে প্রায় অর্ধেক বর্ণনামূলক প্রশ্ন থাকে। তাই গ্রামার ও শূন্যস্থানের পাশাপাশি বর্ণনামূলক অংশটিও সমান গুরুত্ব দিয়ে নিয়মিত পড়তে হবে। বিষয়বস্তুর ওপর পরিষ্কার ধারণা রাখতে হবে এবং প্রচুর লিখার অভ্যাস করতে হবে। তা হলে পরীক্ষায় প্রশ্নের উত্তর কত পৃষ্ঠা লিখলে নিজের লেখায় কত শব্দ হবে (যেমন, ৯০-১০০, ১৫০, ২৫০ শব্দ) তা সম্পর্কে সঠিক ধারণা গড়ে উঠবে।
★ খাতার মার্জিন ও ছক করার জন্য পেনসিল ব্যবহার করবে। হাতের লেখা অস্পষ্ট হলে দু’লাইনের মাঝে যথেষ্ট পরিমাণ ফাঁকা রাখতে হবে। কখনও ওভার রাইটিং করবে না। কোনো কিছু ভুল হলে একটানে কেটে ডান পাশে বা ওপরে লিখবে।
★ Choose the correct answer-এর ক্ষেত্রে সঠিক উত্তরটি খাতায় তুলে দিতে হবে। যেমন- ১. (a) (iv) vertically.
★ Short question-এর ক্ষেত্রে যে Tense-এ প্রশ্ন থাকবে সেই Tense-এ উত্তর দেবে।
★Summary যেন খুব বেশি বড় না হয় (৯০-১০০ শব্দ) অর্থাৎ স্বাভাবিক লেখায় এক পৃষ্ঠার বেশি না হওয়াই বাঞ্ছনীয় এবং টেক্স থেকে হুবহু কোনো বাক্য তুলে দেয়া যাবে না।
★শূন্যস্থানের শব্দগুলো পরপর উপর নিচে লিখবে।
★Matching-এর ক্ষেত্রে পুরো বাক্য তুলে দেয়াই ভালো। যেমন- (a+iv+iii) Alfred Nobel invented dynamite.
★Re-arrange-এর ক্ষেত্রে সঠিকভাবে বাক্যগুলোর নাম্বার ছক আকারে লিখবে।
★প্যারাগ্রাফ মানেই একটি প্যারা। তাই প্যারাগ্রাফ সবসময় একটি প্যারায় লিখবে এবং প্রশ্নপত্রে উল্লিখিত সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিয়ে লিখবে। ভালো প্যারাগ্রাফ লেখা একটি আর্ট। Paragraph-এ অবশ্যই Topic sentence, developers এবং একটি Terminating sentence বা Terminator থাকতে হবে।
★ Story writing এ প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত অংশটুকু অন্য কালি (নীল বা সবুজ) দিয়ে লিখবে এবং সঠিক Title লিখবে। গল্পে শিক্ষণীয় কিছু থাকলে শেষে Moral: লিখে এক বাক্যে লিখে দেবে।
★ গ্রাফ ও চার্টের বর্ণনা হতে হবে সহজ, সরল ও প্রাঞ্জল। তথ্যগুলোকে ধারাবাহিকতা বজায় রেখে লিখতে হবে এবং একটি উপসংহার দিয়ে শেষ করতে হবে।
★ Formal ও Informal letter-এ প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত নাম ঠিকানা অবশ্যই ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং British অথবা American যে কোনো একটি style-এ লিখতে হবে।
★ E-mail writing এ অবশ্যই সঠিকভাবে প্রাপকের E-mail address লিখতে হবে এবং বক্তব্য হতে হবে সংক্ষিপ্ত।
★ Dialogue হতে হবে প্রাণবন্ত ও কথ্যরীতিতে এবং বিভিন্ন শব্দের Short form ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
★ Changing sentence-এ প্রয়োজনমতো Note of Interrogation (?) ও Note of Exclamation (!) দিতে ভুলবে না।
★ Completing sentence অবশ্যই পুরো বাক্য লিখে Complex sentence-এ করবে এবং উত্তরের অংশটুকু Underline করবে।
★ Tag question-এ সম্পূর্ণ বাক্যটি তুলে Tag question অংশটি Underline করে দেবে।
★ CV writing-এ অবশ্যই প্রশ্নে দেয়া Instruction যথাযথভাবে অনুসরণ করতে হবে।
* Composition writing-এ ভালো করতে হলে অবশ্যই প্রচুর পড়তে হবে।
